Following the Education Secretary’s announcement that every child will learn Basic First Aid by 2020.

Langton Medical Training are pleased to announce the Mini-Medic courses which fits into the school curriculum particularly Early Years Foundation Key Stage 1, 2, and 3.

These courses are fun, informative and age appropriate.  Mannequins and other training aids are used to develop their knowledge and confidence to be able to act in an emergency.

Workshops are delivered on your school premises by our experienced training staff and teach children essential life skills in an exciting and fun way – dialling 999 – choking – burns- Basic Life Support and much more.

Young children are capable of helping in an emergency situation if given the opportunity to learn and develop skills they can use the rest of their lives.

Every child’s attendance is recognized by being presented with a Mini-Medic Certificate and information booklet.

The workshops are in three groups:

KS1         5-7 years             60 mins

KS2         7-11 years           90 mins

Seniors                                90 mins.

A large open space is required for this course as students will be required to engage in practical activity.
